Favorite Posts of 2024

We are about to turn the page on another year. How time flies.

As we always do this time of year, a look back at some favorite posts from the past 365 days.

Some of these posts were highly-viewed. Others generated good discussion and responses from you. They’re not all necessarily about happy topics (for example, the Rebekah Byler case, which is due to finally go to trial in March 2025).

On the other hand, some are happy stories – like the Montana Amish man who helped save an English neighbor’s garage, or the hero trooper who saved an Amish child in a runaway buggy.

For me, looking back like this is a nice way to reminisce and recall how much happened over the year.

So happy New Year, and thanks for making a visit to this site a part of your routine – you are appreciated.

    NC Swartzentrubers

Earlier last year you did a story on the NC Swartzentrubers. We took a drive up from Georgia and paid a visit to some of the ones you had in your story. Can you send me that particular story again because we want to go up once again. We talked to a few of them, brought up 4 cases of jars that we were saving and gave them to the Amish gentleman that made outdoor furniture I think it was and he also had a stand selling veggies, it was kinda early so the only thing he had was beans, beets and a few other items but no tomatoes.
