PA Amish QuiltPennsylvania is rife with Amish communities, with over 4 dozen in the state as of 2013.  Amish women throughout the Keystone state hand craft lovely quilts in any number of styles and patterns.  Traditional designs such as the Center Star or Double Wedding Ring have given way to more contemporary quilts appealing to a wider range of tastes as the market for Amish quilts has expanded.

Whether you live in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg or elsewhere in Pennsylvania, Amish-made quilts are within a short reach.  And Lancaster County, of course, is where the state’s most prominent Amish settlement is found, along with a plethora of Amish quilt makers and dealers.
