New from Third Fret Harmony: “In The Palm Of Your Hand”

Third Fret Harmony, who earlier this year brought us their versions of “Sing Me Back Home” and “Sing Me A Song About Jesus” are back with a new song.
This time it’s a more contemporary choice – “In The Palm Of Your Hand”. This one was written by Ron Block and first recorded in the 1990s by Allison Krauss and the Cox Family.
If you hadn’t caught them yet, Third Fret Harmony are brother and sister Mike Fisher and Marty Fisher (who are siblings to Rose of Ben & Rose). The video for this lovely tune is shot outside, in what looks like a Pennsylvania backyard setting with the sun going down.

The song is a soft ballad with a Christian message. Here are the lyrics:
In The Palm Of Your Hand (written by Ron Block)
If I could have the world and all it owns
A thousand kingdoms, a thousand thrones
If all the earth were mine to hold
With wealth my only goalI’d spend my gold on selfish things
Without the love that Your life brings
Just a little bit more is all I’d need
‘Til life was torn from meI’d rather be in the palm of Your hand
Though rich or poor I may be
Faith can see right through the circumstance
Sees the forest in spite of the trees
Your grace provides for meIf I should walk the streets no place to sleep
No faith in promises You keep
I’d have no way to buy my bread
With a bottle for my bedBut if I trust the One who died for me
Who shed His blood to set me free
If I live my life to trust in You
Your grace will see me through

Bravo to the group for another excellent recording and as always a hat tip to their producer Conrad Fisher as well. Enjoy a listen here:

Take it Roses sister left the Amish! Gel? I’m not hating but I could see the same for Ben and Rose soon! At least they got a huge fan base to support them if they decide to….sad if they do but….freedom of religion. It’s because the community is to progressive, soon they’ll be driving cars if the on going four way split continues down there.
Beautiful!
Marty has a lovely voice & Mike a great accompaniment! Lovely song, hope to hear more from them.

Do you know if the singers are from Indiana? I may be interested in having them at our church in October if they are nearby.
