Selling books to the Amish is a pretty cool job.
I’m doing my deliveries now. I had about 270 Amish families get books from me this summer. So it’s been a busy week.
As I was leaving one family earlier today, the dad looked at me and said ‘we’re going to think about you when we read them’.
And I think that hearing that is just as rewarding as any cash I might have earned on that sale.

Yes it went well! That’s basically all I’ve done six days a week for the past 7-8 weeks. (has made it hard to do anything else–including keep up with this blog as I’d like to!)
But I am so grateful for the chance as I was able to learn a lot.
