Full Album Coming From Ben & Rose: “Slowly But Surely” (The Album) Releases This Friday

Good news alert – I have been getting this question for months and I’m happy to finally be able to give a positive answer: Ben and Rose plan to release a full album – this Friday!

In the new promo clip at bottom, you can hear producer Conrad Fisher talking about the release, accompanied by some beautiful imagery.
In the background we hear the sounds of one of the new tracks on the album, “Roses in the Snow” (we heard a demo clip of this song back in July).

The name of the album is the same as their breakout first song – “Slowly But Surely”.
Conrad explains that the album will be available on streaming platforms this Friday (August 29), and – I know this will please people who’d like a physical copy – the CD version of the album can already be pre-ordered from Ben and Rose’s website here. The CDs will ship out in September.

What’s on the album? Well it’s a combination of some songs that you already know – and a good handful of new ones. Here is the track listing:
- Roses in the Snow (Ruth Franks)
- Dream of Me (Jimmy Darrell, Raleigh Squires and Buddy Cannon)
- If Teardrops Were Pennies (Carl Butler, Pearl Butler)
- When You Say Nothing at All (Paul Overstreet, Don Schlitz)
- Slowly but Surely (Charles “Fuzzy” Owen)
- The Robin and the Eggs (Conrad Fisher)
- Farther On (Public Domain)
- Here Today (James Easter, Russel Easter, Ed Easter)
- Lord I Don’t Need a Mansion (Conrad Fisher)
- Lily of the Valley (Public Domain)
- City of Gold (Public Domain)
- Angel Band (Public Domain)
So if my math is right, seven of the 12 are tracks that have gotten YouTube releases, and five of them will be brand-new.

You can check out the just-released album promo video below, as well as hear a bit of the studio version of “Roses in the Snow” in the background.
