Ben & Rose Join Amos & Margaret Raber on New Song: “Fill My Cup, Lord”

Ben & Rose previously teamed with Amos Raber on (perhaps my personal favorite of their releases) “Would You Like To Buy Some Flowers“.
Now they’ve teamed up again along with Amos’ wife Margaret on a new tune called “Fill My Cup, Lord”.
It’s a really nice tune with Christian lyrics, and this rendition has a jaunty country feel. Rose and Amos trade off singing lead on the song, which was written by Richard Blanchard, and dates to 1959. The lyrics:
Fill My Cup, Lord (Lyrics & Music by Richard Blanchard)
Like the woman at the well, I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy.
And then I heard my Savior speaking—
“Draw from My well that never shall run dry.”Fill my cup, Lord;
I lift it up Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.There are millions in this world who are seeking
For pleasures earthly goods afford.
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.So my brother if the things that this world gives you
Leave hungers that won’t pass away,
My blessed Lord will come and save you
If you kneel to Him and humbly pray—

There is no video for this one – though Amos notes in a comment that one is “coming soon”.
That’ll be good news for a lot of people, as a number of folks in the YT comments seem to be clamoring for one. “I love to watch Ben and rose not just listen to them” says one person in an upvoted comment.

Full album coming?
The other thing here is that many people have been asking if an album by Ben & Rose is in the works. I’ve always had to reply “I don’t know”.
But now we may be getting a clue. We see that the image used on the video is a square in the shape of a CD album, and has that “album” look to it. Perhaps this is a hint of what they have planned – a joint album?

The tune is grouped on Amos & Margaret Raber’s channel under the “Releases” tab, paired with “Would You Like To Buy Some Flowers” as an “Album”.
I see it’s also available for sale in that format in some places online. So this might just be the first couple songs of a planned full album.
Enjoy a listen of “Fill My Cup, Lord” here:

Amos & Margaret and Ben & Rose
After so much sadness in the world of Amish news of late, here we have a most beautiful and inspiring story set to music. I continue to be amazed. Thanks, Erik. Have a wonderful weekend everybody.
Glad you enjoyed and I too was glad to be able to share this.
Not sure . . .
Please forgive me everyone as I don’t understand why my words seem to be misspelled and misleading. Wish I knew what the “&” was all about. I’d try to fix it, but I’m afraid I’m simply a middle-aged techno-phobe. Lol.
Ben and Rose album
I sure hope they release their “album”
as a 12″ vinyl. Vinyl eclipsed CDs in market sales. Collectors of physical media (myself included) don’t by vinyl for “better sound”, the digital recording on CDs will always be superior. Rather, we buy vinyl for art reasons: colored or clear 180 gram vinyl, the graphics and copy on the record jacket, and the “extra surprise” inside (a little booklet, a poster, lyric sheet, etc.). And, because of all of the above, buyers are willing to pay $25 for a single record, $35 for a 2-record release. Quality is a must, especially 180 gram vinyl. Best wishes and good luck
