“Double-Barreled” Amish Buggy Does Snow Donuts In A Tennessee Parking Lot

It’s been awhile since we’ve had a good “Amish fun in the snow” video. So it seems apt that the arrival of the Big Winter Storm of 2026 would also bring us a good Amish-buggy-doing-snow-donuts video (at end of post).

The person who filmed this, Casey Jones Springer, captioned it simply “Only in Tennessee”. While that’s not technically accurate (for instance, here’s a buggy snow donuts video from 11 years ago in Ohio), I appreciate the sentiment.

And you’ll find more buggy snow donuts videos with a simple YouTube search.

The fact is, some Amish fellas (I’m assuming they’re all fellas, though not necessarily only fellas) like to have some fun with their “wheels” just like some non-Amish guys do.

I’m calling it double-barreled (obviously not the technical term) on account of it being hitched to two horses, a less-common arrangement but one which allows for a longer journey – and perhaps more torque when doing snow donuts?

Given the caption, and the uploader’s handle (tn_mail_lady), this is apparently somewhere in Tennessee. It may very well be in the Ethridge community, given the style of buggy (e.g., no SMV triangle).

While we’re here, the Ethridge settlement has been the site of some other Amish snow videos lately, including two showing Amish rescuing cars from snowy ditches.

So check out the short clip below – and be on the lookout for Amish buggies doing donuts after a snowstorm near you 🙂

    Driverless buggy?

Funny, I don’t see a driver in that buggy making donuts.

I see hands, arms moving about, and faces. There appear to be at least two people in the buggy. If you are able to enlarge the shot, or view on a computer screen, it should be more visible.
