Geauga County “Amish Wedding Dinner” Event Open To Public
No, this isn’t an actual dinner at an Amish wedding – but the name of a fundraising event held at a Geauga County Amish woman’s home. The event is to raise funds for an anti-domestic violence group. The dinner, hosted by Mary Miller, will include baked chicken, stuffing, seven layer salad, pies, and more. The Geauga County Maple Leaf reports that registration needs to be in by today for the October 13 dinner:
The Friends of WomenSafe’s annual Amish Wedding Dinner will be held at the home of Mary Miller, 13301 Princeton Road in Middlefield. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m.
Dinner is $35 for adults and $20 for children under 10. The event includes a gift card raffle.
I’m posting the dinner graphic below which has more info on the event. Sounds like a nice occasion for anyone in the area, and I’m sure you won’t go home hungry.
Amish Wedding Dinner
What a great idea for a fundraiser! I hope they have been able to continue it since then.
