Barrel Ceiling with tongue and groove hardwood on ceiling.
We have a really beautiful room with hardwood tongue and groove flooring on the ceiling. The attic space above this room is inaccessible and has little to no insulation. We need a skilled woodworker/carpenter to advise us in the best way to approach either removing a portion of the tongue and groove with hopefully not damaging it much versus installing an attic access door by cutting one in.
It’s a very unique room about 11’ tall and 18’x18’. The wood is beautiful so really looking for someone skilled to help keep it that way.
