Amish Country Music: Rose’s Brother & Sister (Third Fret Harmony) Release New Song
Third Fret Harmony is another Amish music group that (at least) Rose of Ben & Rose has been a part of (and I think still is – though I am not sure).
Like Ben & Rose, they are also working with producer Conrad Fisher, and I think you’ll recognize some of that flavor in this song.
In this video, which I believe is their first “produced” vid (though they certainly have other videos of their music on YouTube), Third Fret Harmony covers a Merle Haggard tune called “Sing Me Back Home”.

In this latest video, it is just Rose’s brother and sister – Mike Fisher, and unfortunately I am not 100% sure of her name, so I don’t want to flub it (please let me know if you are). UPDATE: Her name is Martha, but she goes by “Marty” (or maybe that’s “Marti”). That confirms what I heard someone say in one of their videos. Hat-tip to Dave H.
Mike sings lead here, in a song about the power of song to bring back memory – to take you to another place, even.

I was not familiar with this song, but I think the Third Fret Harmony version sounds fantastic.

Mike and Rose’s sister’s given name is Martha. She goes by Marty.
As recently as Feb 27 of this year, all 3 siblings plus Ben and 2 others performed as Third Fret Harmony at Pinecraft in Florida. Link to 2 hour performance:

I’ve sent videos of them to friends who enjoyed their music & usually say, “I didn’t think they were allowed to do that!” lol. (I then remind them that of course they sing in church)
Really is Great to hear good Music. Having had a stroke in July with a brain bleed n then having a TIA ( mini stroke ) on the 12th of this month is discouraging. So listening to this music is uplifting To hear Third Fret Harmony along with Ben & Rose is so uplifting. God Bless n Keep up the Great Singing
