Rainbows & Sunshine: Subscription Winner and Excerpts

Today we have a winner of the Rainbows and Sunshine subscription. If you missed the first post, Rainbows and Sunshine is a new children’s publication edited by Amish mother Freida Stoltzfus of Lancaster County, PA. You can read about it here.

rainbows-and-sunshine-childrens-magazineI was in touch with Freida again yesterday; I think she really enjoyed seeing all your comments. And she had this response to one of them:

The comment asking if I am taking advice from readers, I would love to tell her, most definitely! I love to hear suggestions etc!

I wanted to first share an excerpt from the publication (actually, a few excerpts). Then you’ll find the winner below, as well as how to get this magazine if you aren’t the lucky one today 🙂

And since I’m a little pressed for time, I’m just going to share photos. They’re smartphone photos not pro shots, but hopefully you’ll be able to read them without too much trouble:

      Congrats Janet!!

Erik, do you know if this publication will be available at the amish run bookstores in Lancaster County?

      1. Hi Loretta, I didn’t ask Freida about the distribution plans yet, but I did see it already in Gordonville Bookstore when I was there in January.
