Are there any Amish in Arkansas?
Yes, but not many.
Compared to the Midwestern and Northern states, relatively few Amish have settled the South. The first try at Arkansas was made back in 1927. Today, there are a handful of Amish in the state.

Hi Eric,
What are the chances of getting pictures of the Arkansas Amish?
Arkansas Amish photos
Hi George, I do not have any myself, though there is one or two shots in this article referenced in the Arkansas Amish state guide entry:
“Vernon’s First Year Garden Produces the Produce”, Erma Harris, Villager Journal, September 2, 2009. Online at http://www.areawidenews.com/story/1567141.html
On that note, if anyone out there would like to share Arkansas shots, shoot me an email!
Hi Eric,
I did check it out as you suggested. The produce looked good, as always.
I was hoping to see a barn photo, no such luck.
perhaps some one in Arkansa will send pictures.
Hi Erik,
Did you receive my msg. re: the questions????
A few years ago I was in Mena and we ran into an Amish community. They said that some Amish were moving to Arkansas because of the homeschooling laws in Pennsylvania(I think?) Pennsylvania(?) was trying to ban homeschooling at the time.
I just remembered that the Amish I met, were from Illinois not Pennsylvania, and after a bit of research there are indeed some peculiar home schooling laws being proposed there.

Amish home schooling
Hi PW, homeschooling is pretty rare among Amish as most Amish feel their private schools do the job well. I’ve actually met a lot more public schooling Amish families than I have homeschoolers. Though there are some.
