Amish and Christmas
We have a wonderful Amish Family as our neighbours. They have 7 children, and I would love to buy the children a little gift for Christmas. I am thinking colouring books each. Would this be okay, as I do not want to offend anyone.
Yes, linda, coloring books or activity books or puzzles sound like a wonderful idea! Some Dollar stores have nice ones. Books with pictures of nature or animals or Bible scenes might be better than make-believe Hollywood characters. You could double-check with that individual church district. Hopefully they have their own crayons or pencil crayons. If it were summertime, the children might enjoy bubbles or balls. That is very nice of you to make them feel special.
