I noticed no mention of the Amish/Mennonites living close to Clarksville and surrounding KY area. They are very friendly people selling the best furniture and buildings (sheds) I have owned one for about 15 years and really expect it to last a lifetime. Though they venture out some in cars and some in horse and buggy to store and restaurants they stay to themselves except when they sell their produce mostly on side of roads and in their communities.

Hi. I have a log cabin that needs repair work on eaves, external loft, and possibly roof replacement. As I am seasonal resident (only there throughout summer and during Christmas), I always have difficult time finding reliable, quality workers. I was told by neighbors that I should try to find Mennonite workers, but I do not know how. Can anyone help me by giving me contact name? I am more than willing to pay fair price. My main concern is fixing/preserving my beloved seasonal home. Thanks in advance for any information. ~Sherri

Do you have an address? Many times the Amish are overloaded with orders, or they have their own work to do but they are very honest. Please write to them and you will get a reply.

I'd like to know more about the amish mentioned by one poster in Englewood. I was recently told by the guy that owns the market/deli in Greenback,Tn , right on hey 411 that the children from the Delano amish bought a farm near him and started having their own farmers market on saturdays. Can anyone confirm this ? Is this the same group as the amish who are on county road 422 ?
I'd like more directions to their place if they have produce, etc to buy.
