These children’s scooters are made by Groffdale Machine Shop, a long-established Amish-owned business in Lancaster County and perhaps the best-known maker of Amish scooters. Scooters of course are a Lancaster Amish essential, used as transport and fun by children and adults alike.

They come in multiple colors including Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Maroon, Plum, Orange, Neon Green, and Pink. View all colors.

Croquet Set, Groffdale Machine Shop (Lancaster)

Croquet is not a game you see in all Amish communities. But it thrives as a favorite outdoor pastime among the Amish of Lancaster County.

Amish-style noodles from the famous Das Dutchman Essenhaus restaurant of northern Indiana.       Try looking at Lehman’s Hardware on-line. I just checked their web site and they have at least three different kinds of cream-separators.

      My sister, who lives near Lancaster, bought me a circular wooden clothesline that you hang by a hook and it has clothespins attached. I believe she got it at a farmers market a few years ago. I would love one for the outdoors as mine is old and falling apart. I would also love a smaller one to hang above my kitchen sink to dry bags
